Should message AG! I’m sure he’d love to help out as long as it isn’t a copy of jup callers. Would be cool if it’s more stats-orientated and serves as a tool that can complement jupcallers’ human picks
Bullish on $SPCX between starlink revenue and data centers in space, that's a buy

I have a few etfs and like 15 stocks that I’m in, but I’ll share them tomorrow. Kinda tired so gonna go to bed soon
Tbh, just buy QQQ and hold forever if you don’t wanna do research. 🤪
its in multiple exchanges, LSE, XETR, and XAMS (amsterdam?) as long as your broker lists it, you should be able to get them (e.g.g screenshot is incomeshares QQQ)
the irish is the domiciled status for tax reasons not so much for "availability" but idk if americans can access these without a broker that specifically lists them, but for most eu countries should be fine
Just keep in mind these are income products that sell options and hold cash and shares, they are not growth products so don't expect them to follow the underlying so closely, and their nav can decay depending on if options are assigned to any options they sell. What I like to do is combine it with WINC and a few other etfs, so that income I get from incomeshares, I usually put into something more nav stable like those other etfs, when nav drops enough on incomeshares I usually then buy even more of them. The premiums can also differ month by month, right now they're a bit low due to low volatility (see VIX is showing very low, thus low premiums)
With just $420 usd of liquidity, my P/L YTD is $32 (2 weeks) With $4200, placing the same trades just 10x the amount, your P/L YTD would be $320 for 2 weeks of writing defined-risk deep out of the money short put spreads With $42000, the same trades, and 100x the amount, your P/L YTD over 2 weeks would be roughly $3200 Being deep out of the money means they are more likely than not to benefit from theta decay (this is what you want with shorting options) and unlikely to result in assignment. Even if you are assigned, your losses are significantly less than if you straight up shorted without the long leg. This P/L is mostly from QQQ, but I also started writing spreads on DIA (dow jones)
I keep 25% in cash in the Fidelity spaxx money market to buy the dips
I might buy some gold since I have no exposure, but money market is nice too because it’s accruing like 5% apy rn

It’s ok, I just want to balance out my portfolio. It’s weighted too heavily on semis and saas rn
Probably gold is best for me long term

depends what ur trading really, there are those teucrium wheat and corn and sugar etfs u can do options on those but hard to borrow sometimes,
tbh dont expect much from an etf tho
they don't move much, but there is a bullish thesis on commodities so could perform well
1 short reply with no stock talk skipped
tbh i tend to just buy gold and silver physically for the best kind of exposure, or etfs that do similar, there are some ETFs that also provide non-leveraged and leveraged exposure to them. those are probably the safest way without the risk of liquidation but you still risk losses, you can also do options on them
options on commodities
corn futures

Also bought Dell and SpaceX 5 min into opening
What we buying in the sale today boys
I bought some hood, qqq, gev
Btw, Nasdaq is investing 100m in kraken for tokenization efforts
I think this might be bullish for 24/7 tokenized trading without need for a settlement period, and Robinhood is early
Idk what other company we can get exposure to tokenization boom other than through hood for now. Don’t think kraken has plans for an ipo any time soon

Options Part 3 Easy strategy selection One of the cool things about tastytrade is that it makes it quite easy to do various spread strategies. At the top of the screenshot in part 2 you can see at the top: "Strategy" and I have it selected for "Vertical Short Put". By expanding the expiry date I want, and then pressing the blue return button next to the strategy, will automatically select a trade matching that strategy in the window. I can then fine tune it using the trade overview buttons at the bottom, e.g. change the strike price, quantity and so on. For a bull put spread, this is also known as a vertical short put. I can change it to a bear call spread simply by changing it to "Vertical Short Call" (this is where you expect a stock price to decline and stay under your strikes). Generally though, since the link in the first post says "The S&P 500 has finished higher roughly 70% of all 30-day periods since 1950", you are 70% right by using "Vertical short put" Some other interesting strategies worth looking at (but with generally different risks and rewards) are calendar spreads (different expiries), covered calls (you can cover potential assignment). The rest are a bit more advanced and probably not worth going too deep into at an early stage.
Options Part 4 Placing the order When you place your trade, you will notice the slider at the bottom: BID (OPP) - MID - ASK (NAT) That's showing how your order price is being calculated/selected: - BID (OPP) = the bid price from the other side of the trade - MID = the midpoint between the bid and ask - ASK (NAT) = the ask price from the other side The abbreviations OPP and NAT are broker-specific terminology, but generally: - OPP = Opposite side → when you're buying, it references the bid; when you're selling, it references the ask. - NAT = Natural price → the price currently available from the other side of the market. So BID / MID / ASK is basically showing you the market's range for what you can realistically get filled at. Just because you place a trade, doesn't mean it will be filled immediately, nor does it mean it will be filled at all (it might not be). Oftentimes it's a waiting game, other times you might need to adjust your order, in which case you can right click it and click replace. You can move that slider around a bit, but be aware of the "profit/loss" will change as you do this... Remember to also select "Net Credit" (since you are looking to collect premiums), and then ensure you enter the time in force to be the option's expiry minus 1 day. You can also preview the "quick analysis" to see what the estimated payoff looks like (see the screenshot). Finally, before you submit the trade you can see what the effect is on your account (it's expected that you will reduce your balance because you still have to cover the potential assignment until this all expires or is closed out)
Options Part 2 In the attached screenshot you can see a particular trade I'm looking at on QQQ, with strike prices 675–676, and 45 days until expiry as indicated by the 45d in the middle column at the top. The trade window at the bottom shows my max profit for 1 contract is $23 and my max loss is $77. I deliberately set the Time in Force to be 1 day prior to the options expiry date, so the position is automatically closed 1 day before expiry. This is to avoid expiration risk (Google this if u dk what it means). The general gist is that, if you hold a spread on expiration, you can potentially end up being assigned on the STO side without knowing for certain whether your BTO side was exercised, which could temporarily leave you with an unintended naked position. STO = Sell To Open → opening a short position BTO = Buy To Open → opening a long position The general idea here is that I expect QQQ to stay above 676. If it does, then theta (time decay) works in my favour. As the options approach expiry, their value should generally decay, allowing me to keep the premium I collected when I opened the trade, or potentially close the position early for a profit. If QQQ falls below 676, the position starts moving against me. However, because I have also bought the 675 put, my downside is capped. That's what makes this a defined-risk spread. You can see the POP in the trade window below suggests a Probability of Profit of around 80%. So, roughly speaking, I'm risking $77 to potentially make $23, giving me a maximum return of about 30% on the capital at risk if the trade expires completely in my favour. Obviously, 80% POP doesn't mean there's an 80% guarantee of making money — it's an estimate based on the options pricing/model. And the trade still has a relatively small but meaningful chance of taking the full $77 loss. As the link in Part 1 shows, it also fits the following: * Optimal DTE 30–45 days * Strike selection at the 15–25 delta (-0.21 -> 21)
Nice. Sk hynix also listing on Nasdaq on Friday I think, so we no longer will have to pay $100 flat fee every time we buy dram etf
they pivoted away from phones and into 5g, fibre, routers and switches. since western nations moving away from chinese tech due to fears of them installing backdoors and nvidia bought nokia too is bullish

From what I understand, the main reason thye need to defend the yen is for oil. If they can figure out a work around for oil, maybe they can let the yen weaken further in the short term, but who really knows
the other big factor is the debt to GDP that Japan has
Japan is the only country in history that has held that level of debt for that long without outright collapsing, so
It's possible they can recover, but the odds are really not in their favor
Yah, I am not into forex either
I was thinking about longing the yen around here, but ionno
Yeah, that’s def not happening unless they do something drastic
At least I can buy some cheap yen for my upcoming trip to Japan for my 35th bday next March 😹
I added 30k to QQQ yday, should have done TQQQ instead but oh wells
Been on the wrong side of levered bets many a times 🕊️ it sucks.

My short on the nasdaq isn't liquidated yet
Gold is collapsing at the same time US long bond yields are collapsing. This can only mean one thing
Setting limit buy for 200 shares of soxl at $201 Nfa dyor
We might dump more around micron earnings
Added $2k of butterfly
Bought $50k of $soxl at $242.5 pre-market. Will buy $50k more at $205 if we go that low
Google dilluted their shares for $80 billion, Meta is considering doing the same, and many of the big names are issuing public bonds, including NVIDIA. The implication is that banks and private credit aren't willing to finance the AI build out anymore
That's the big question. Oracle pumped 30% when they announced the deal in Q3 earnings. It was so absurd that it is the reason I got interested in trading stocks in the first place lol. There is a lot of concern around AI funding right now
